These little hummers look hungry! their beaks are still yellow, and eyes are still shut.I sat and watched them for a while today, along with the mother hummingbird. She had taken off to go hunt for bugs or something, before I knew it there was a hummingbird sitting on a cable, (an old dog run) another flew up to it and hovered above it for a second or two, then a third hummingbird showed up and was checking out the nest, well Mama hummingbird came darting over in a hurry and chased it away.
I'm still working on getting better shots of her feeding the babies, the light comes from the wrong direction so the side of her facing me so far is showing up somewhat dark, and it doesn't take her long to feed them at this point.
Compare this image with the one in the previous post, it's only been a couple days and there's a noticeable difference in the baby hummingbirds beaks, also the strands on their backs are getting more fluffy, and are harder to see.
